Very beautiful gilded bronze lamp with richly chiseled decoration of a covered pot with twisted flutes and pearl net, adorned with a falling garland of laurel leaves.
It rests on a cylindrical barrel with flutes and a pearl ring, and rests on a square base with stylized heart spokes.
Louis XVI style. Period XXth century
The lampshade is supported by a fretel representing a pine cone.
This lamp is in very good condition, beautiful original gilding, a crack in the garland.
This very beautiful lamp is to be compared to the very beautiful clocks of Robert OSMONT, (1711-1789), a famous bronzier who perfectly illustrated the Louis XVI period, drawing inspiration from the Greek influence, which can be found here, in the barrel of this lamp, and which can also be found in the spirit of the very beautiful collection Nissim de Camondo
Dimensions: 14x36 cm, and 14x65 cm
